You created it, You formed it, You breathed it into me And You preserve it within me. You will eventually take it from me, And restore it in me in the time to come. So long as the soul is within me, I give thanks to You, Adonai, my God, And God of my ancestors, Lord of all creatures, Master of all souls.

יִגְדַּל אֱ-לֹהִים חַי וְיִשְׁתַּבַּח, נִמְצָא, וְאֵין עֵת אֶל מְצִיאוּתוֹ אֶחָד וְאֵין יָחִיד כְּיִחוּדוֹ, נֶעְלָם, וְגַם אֵין סוֹף לְאַחְדּוּתוֹ אֵין לוֹ דְמוּת הַגּוּף וְאֵינוֹ גּוּף, לֹא נַעֲרוֹךְ אֵלָיו קְדֻשָּׁתוֹ קַדְמוֹן לְכָל דָּבָר אֲשֶׁר נִבְרָא, רִאשׁוֹן וְאֵין רֵאשִׁית לְרֵאשִׁיתוֹ הִנּוֹ אֲדוֹן עוֹלָם, לְכָל נוֹצָר. יוֹרֶה גְדֻלָּתוֹ וּמַלְכוּתוֹ שֶׁפַע נְבוּאָתוֹ נְתָנוֹ, אֶל אַנְשֵׁי סְגוּלָּתוֹ וְתִפְאַרְתּוֹ לֹא קָם בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל כְּמֹשֶה עוֹד נָבִיא, וּמַבִּיט אֶת תְּמוּנָתוֹ תּוֹרַת אֱמֶת נָתַן לְעַמּוֹ, אֵל, עַל יַד נְבִיאוֹ נֶאֱמַן בֵּיתוֹ לֹא יַחֲלִיף הָאֵל וְלֹא יָמִיר דָּתוֹ. לְעוֹלָמִים, לְזוּלָתוֹ צוֹפֶה וְיוֹדֵֽעַ סְתָרֵינוּ, מַבִּיט לְסוֹף דָּבָר בְּקַדְמָתוֹ גּוֹמֵל לְאִישׁ חֶֽסֶד כְּמִפְעָלוֹ, נוֹתֵן לְרָשָׁע רָע כְּרִשְׁעָתוֹ יִשְׁלַח לְקֵץ יָמִין מְשִׁיחֵֽנוּ, לִפְדּוֹת מְחַכֵּי קֵץ יְשׁוּעָתוֹ מֵתִים יְחֲיֶּה אֵל בְּרוֹב חַסְדּוֹ, בָּרוּךְ עֲדֵי עַד שֵׁם תְּהִלָּתוֹ Yigdal elohim chai v'yishtabach, nimtza, v'ein et el m'tziuto Echad v'ein yachid k'yichudo, ne'lam, v'gam ein sof l'achduto Ein lo d'mut haguf v'eino guf, lo na'aroch eilav k'dushato Kadmon l'chol davar asher nivra, rishon v'ein reishit l'reishito Hino adon olam, l'chol notzar. L'olamim l'zulato Tzofeh v'yodea s'tareinu, mabit l'sof davar b'kadmato Gomel le'ish chesed k'mifalo, notein l'rasha ra k'rishato Yishlach l'keitz yamin m'shicheinu, lifdot m'chakei ketz yeshu'ato Meitim y'chayei el b'rov chasdo, baruch adei ad shem t'hilato Glorify and praise the living God who exists, but not in time. Singular and unique, hidden and unbounded, Having no body, not a physical being. We cannot describe God's distinctness. God existed before everything, first of all, but with no beginning. This is the master of the world, all of creation points to God's greatness and sovereignty. Prophetic inspiration was bestowed upon the people God treasured and honored. There never arose in Israel another like Moses, a prophet able to see the very likeness of the Divine. By the hand of this prophet, trusted in God's house, Torah, a truthful teaching, was given to God's people. God will never alter the divine law, nor change it for another. God knows our innermost thoughts, and foresees their consequence from the start. God repays the righteous for their deeds, punishes evildoers in accord with their transgressions. The Divine will send us our Messiah at the end of days, redeeming those who wait for the time of God's triumph. God, with great mercy, will give life to the dead- may God's name be praised forever.

Our parent and sovereign, for the sake of our ancestors who trusted in You and to whom You taught the laws of life, so may You be gracious to us and instruct us. Kind creator, have compassion for us, open our hearts so that we may understand and discern, hear and study, observe, perform, and fulfill all the teachings of Your Torah with love.

אֵל בָּרוּךְ גְּדוֹל דֵּעָה הֵכִין וּפָעַל זָהֳרֵי חַמָּה טוֹב יָצַר כָּבוֹד לִשְׁמוֹ מְאוֹרוֹת נָתַן סְבִיבוֹת עֻזּוֹ פִּינוֹת צְבָאָיו קְדוֹשִׁים רוֹמְמֵי שַׁדַּי תָּמִיד מְסַפְּרִים כְּבוֹד אֵל וּקְדוּשָּׁתוֹ El baruch g'dol de'ah Hechin u'fa'al zohorei chamah Tov yatzar k'vod lish'mo M'orot natan s'vivot uzo Pinot tz'va'av k'doshim Romemei shadai Tamid m'saprim k'vod el uk'dushato Almighty, blessed one, full of knowledge, the firmament and goodly heavens are illuminated with Your justice, kindness, and light, they make Your name an object of praise, quietly, resolutely, soulfully all tell in unified voice of Your wise, excellent, and zealous care.

הִנֵּה אֵל יְשׁוּעָתִי, אֶבְטַח וְלֹא אֶפְחָד, כִּי עָזִּי וְזִמְרָת יָהּ יְיָ, וַיְהִי לִי לִישׁוּעָה. וּשְׁאַבְתֶּם מַֽיִם בְּשָׂשׂוֹן, מִמַּעַיְנֵי הַיְשׁוּעָה. לַייָ הַיְשׁוּעָה, עַל עַמְּךָ בִרְכָתֶֽךָ סֶּֽלָה. יְיָ צְבָאוֹת עִמָּֽנוּ, מִשְׂגָּב לָנוּ אֱלֹהֵי יַעֲקֹב סֶֽלָה. יְיָ צְבָאוֹת, אַשְרֵי אָדָם בֹּטֵֽחַ בָּךְ. יְיָ הוֹשִֽׁיעָה, הַמֶּֽלֶךְ יַעֲנֵֽנוּ בְיוֹם קָרְאֵֽנוּ. לַיְּהוּדִים הָיְתָה אוֹרָה וְשִׂמְחָה וְשָׂשׂוֹן וִיקָר. כֵּן תִּהְיֶה לָּֽנוּ. כּוֹס יְשׁוּעוֹת אֶשָּׂא, וּבְשֵׁם יְיָ אֶקְרָא Hinei el y'shuati, eftach v'lo efchad, ki ozi v'zimrat yah Adonai, vayehi li lishua. Ush'avtem mayim b'sasson mimaynei hayeshua. Ladonai hayeshua al am'cha birchatecha selah. Adonai tz'vaot imanu, misgav lanu elohei Ya'akov selah. Adonai tz'vaot ashrei adam boteyach bach. Adonai hoshia, hamelech ya'aneinu v'yom koreinu. Layehudim hayta orah v'simcha v'sasson vikar. Ken tih'yeh lanu. Kos yeshu'ot esa, uv'shem Adonai ekra Behold, God is my savior, I will trust God and not be afriad, for my strong faith and song of praise for God will be my salvation. You will draw water joyously from the wellsprings of salvation. Salvation is God's, may Your blessing rest upon Your people. God of the heavenly armies is with us, the God of Jacob is a fortress protecting us. God of the heavenly armies, happy is the one who trusts You. God, redeem us! The Sovereign will answer us on the day we call God. The Jews had light, happiness, joy and honor- may we have the same. Baruch Atah Adonai, hamavdil bein kodesh l'chol Blessed are You, Adonai our God, Ruler of the universe, who created the fruit of the vine. Blessed are You, Adonai our God, Ruler of the universe, who separates between the holy and the mundane, between the light and dark, between Israel and the other nations, between Shabbat and the six days of the week. בָּר֣וּךְ הַגֶּ֔בֶר אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִבְטַ֖ח בַּֽה’ וְהָיָ֥ה ה’ מִבְטַחֽוֹ וְיִבְטְח֣וּ בְ֭ךָ יוֹדְעֵ֣י שְׁמֶ֑ךָ כִּ֤י לֹֽא־עָזַ֖בְתָּ דֹרְשֶׁ֣יךָ יְהֹוָֽה׃ Baruch hagever asher yivtach badonai v'haya adonai mivtacho V'yivt'chu v'cha yodei sh'mecha ki lo azav'ta dorshecha Adonai Blessed is the one who trusts in God, whose trust is in God alone. Those who know Your name trust You, for You do not abandon those who turn to You, Adonai.
